Be a writer, director, producer, camera operator, sound recordist, boom operator, actor, soundtrack composer, storyboard artist, set designer, lighting technician, make-up artist,
wardrobe supervisor, script supervisor...
What's it all about?
No experience necessary. Young filmmakers plan and shoot films based upon their interests. Recent films have explored horror, superheroes, action and espionage. All equipment is provided. Attendees should wear clothing suitable for both indoor and outdoor filmmaking.
ABOUT
Focus Film School was founded in 2017 by Award Winning filmmaker and teacher Clive Martin, PGCE with QTS. A graduate of The University of Westminster in 1994, Clive has many years experience working in the film industry, education and as a volunteer in special education (including the Sonrise Programme).
'Filmmaking and its ability to communicate story is exciting and magical. Focus Film School provides a professional filmmaking experience, using industry standard equipment and approaches. All of which is tailored to the needs of each workshop participant.
