Focus Film School's Founder, Clive Martin (BA Hons, PGCE with QTS), is highly experienced in with a broad spectrum of learners, including those with ADHD, Autism, and PDA.

 

Clive - "Filmmaking offers a huge scope for engagement, and there are plenty of creative ideas and techniques we can explore. Film is a route to building communication and problem-solving skills, which also supports the development of resilience and self-confidence. From a practical perspective, I bring a van full of equipment, including props, costumes, and, of course, professional filmmaking equipment, such as cameras, lighting, equipment, dollies, and tracks to you. We use as little or as much resources as the learner needs to realize their ideas. Sessions flex and adapt to suit the individual. The approach is to build engagement and confidence while being guided by the learners' interests and goals."
